What Linkbuilding Services are There

There are a plethora of link building sites out there. Some are service based, others are purely software. Some are good and others are downright dodgy. Well here are a couple of good ones that we have found recently and that we rather like. Both very different, they might be worth a try in that never ending pursuit for MORE LINKS that we’re always harping on to you about. Zemanta Zemanta is a unique little tool that helps to promote you to that voice of the Internet itself – the blogger. It is an understated and unobtrusive way to get your content out there, that effectively asks bloggers to opt in to linking to your site. You submit a content feed or an image feed to Zemanta and this is then displayed to bloggers, on the composition page as they write their posts, labelled as a related post. This can provide a number of benefits:
  • The outcome that you’re really hoping for is that a blogger will see your post, deem that it actually is relevant and decide to link to your content in their blog
  • At the very least appearing here regularly will raise the awareness of your brand amongst the bloggers themselves and who knows, once you are in their consciousness they may decide to link to you at a later date
  • Of course these links are also likely to draw direct traffic from curious bloggers
MyBlogGuest We like this happy little community called MyBlogGuest. It is a simple idea – basically a meeting place for people wanting to write guest blogs and those who want to receive them. It is quite small at the moment but assuming that it continues to grow in popularity and that a higher number of quality bloggers decide to use the platform then it could provide fantastic opportunities for building relationships, as well as for receiving links.
