Go to Google and in the search bar enter google webmaster tools. So this is the google’s official website for webmaster tools, click on it. Click Search Console Button, and Click start now button.It will ask you to verify your google account ID. Enter your password and click on this next button. So now we are logged into our google search console, it is showing us the welcome message here. Now you can either enter the domain name or URL prefix. We will continue with the URL prefix. Now go back to your site and copy the URL prefix from here. URL prefix will be like HTTP your site name dot com. Copy and paste it here. Then click on this continue button. Now we have to verify ourselves and to do so we have to download this HTML file and upload it to your website. A little below, we have other methods for verification like from HTML tag. Click on the HTML tag option and copy the code content from here. Now go back to our WordPress site dashboard, select this all in one SEO tab and again go to the general settings tab. Scroll down a little bit, in webmaster verification column, you have Google search console option, paste your content text here. And save it using the above update options button.
Now go back to the google search console site and click on this verify button. Now its checking our credentials and verification completed successfully. It is showing the message ownership verified along with the method we use for verification. Then click on this go to property button. Here is its property page showing all of its properties. Youcan do the same process for Bing, Pinterest, Yandex, Baidu etc. So this is how you can connect with Google Webmaster Tools using All-in-One WordPress SEO Plugin.
