Welcome to the SEO Training Kit Video #8 – ‘How to insert social share button on WordPress’

Inside this video training, we are going to show you, how you can insert the social sharing button on your WordPress site, step-by-step, let’s have a look…

On our WordPress dashboard go to the Plugins tab and select add new tab. In the search bar insert social share keyword and search. We are going to use the first result, this social media share buttons and social sharing icons, it has 5-star ratings. So click on this install now button and once installed click on this activate button. Now click on this allow & continue button on this dialogue box. Now it will redirect us to the settings page. Choose where the icons shall be displayed. Let’s select this floating over your website’s pages, now select the location, center top, top right, let select the center-right and center bottom. Now scroll down, select if we want to disable the floating icons on mobile devices? Select yes or no, we will select no, and then save the changes by clicking on this save button.

Now let’s move to the option – design, and animation for your icons. Select the design you want for your icons, you can also select the animations as well then save your settings. Now to the next category, to display counts next to your icons, you can customize the settings for this as well. And then any other wishes for your icons, in this you can customize the size, spacing, icons per row, etc.  You can also make them sticky icons if you want. Select yes, you can also upgrade to its premium features and then click on this save button.

Now go back to the posts tab and view your post by clicking on this view option. So this is your post and you can see your floating social media icons on the post. Scroll down and they are scrolling with your post. When you hover above them, they are showing options for like and share. Now back on WordPress, select these ultimate social media icons. Customize where they shall be displayed, remove this floating option and select these show icons after posts. We can have responsive icons or original icons, we will select the original icons, scroll a down a little bit and you’ll see an option to display those icons at the end of every post. Let’s select yes for this and click on this save buttonSo all your changes will be saved.

Now go back to your post and refresh it, you can see the icons have appeared here at the end. Back on WordPress, let’s select the action for these icons, select thisdo you want those icons to doand customize the icon’s action. You can also select to click on this benefit from all advantages button. A little above, you have the very first option, which icons do you want to show on your site. Select all that you want to display, email, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Instagram, etc. Select all you want and then click on this save button. Now go back to your site and reload it. You can see all the icons you have selected displayed here with the customized action. So this is how you can insert the social share button on WordPress.
