Welcome to the SEO Training Kit Video #13 – ‘How To Install and Setting W3 Total Cache’
Inside this video training, we are going to show you,how you can install and set-up W3 Total Cache plugin, step-by-step, let’s have a look…
On your WordPress dashboard, go to the Plugins tab and select add new from it. So on the top right search bar, search for W3 total. Here are all the search results related to our keyword. So we are going to install our first result, W3 Total Cache plugin by BoldGrid. Click on this install now button, after installation, click on this activate button.
Next, we need to customize its settings. Choose this performance tab from the dashboard and then select this general settings tab. On top, it is showing us the welcome message and their latest terms of use and privacy policy. We need to accept it to continue, check out the terms and then click on this accept button. Once you accept it, scroll down a little bit and you’ll see page cache option. Enable the page cache, next is the minify option, enable the minify also. A new dialog box appears showing you all the risks involved. Read and understand it and then click on this I understand the risks button. Below you have JS and CSS minifier. Below we have database cache option, then object cache and next is the Browser cache option, enable it also. Then scroll down to User experience and this select lazy loading option. A little more below, we have fragment cache option and different other options also like debug. At the bottom, we have import or export settings. Then go to the top we can save changes by clicking on this save all settings button. So now the settings have been updated. And this is how you can install and set up the W3 Total Cache plugin.
