Inside this video training, we are going to show you,how you can reduce image file size to optimize your images for search engines, step-by-step, let’s have a look…
Go to the WordPress dashboard and select plugins option. From there, select add new tab. On the top right search bar, search for robin image or select it from the suggestion drop down below. All the results for Robin image are loaded. Now we need this first result Robin Image Optimizer plugin by Webcraftic. Click on this install now button to install it and after installation, click on this activate button. After activation, go to the settings tab and select Robin image optimizer option from the bottom of it.Now its settings option loaded, it is showing media library is now on 0%, then we have server limit and status stable. A little below, it showing that we have optimized 0% of your website’s images and then we have run button, click on it. Then select your optimization way and click on this optimize now button. So now the image optimization has started, And here you can see original size optimized size and optimized percentage. Below, you can see a list of optimized images and the overall savings on the image. Also the initial size of the image, current size, original saving etc. The values have been updated for every image file. It keeps adding on in the list and the updated values have been showing for every optimized image. And above you can see the optimized percentage of the images. So like this, you can optimize all your website images and even see the data for optimization. For every image on your site, it is showing separate data and overall saving value. Wait for the optimized percentage to reach 100%. Once it’s reached 100%, you can see you saved 63.7% by optimizing your images and you have got total optimized size as 1.64 MB with 63.7% optimization. This is the plugin’s basic version, where it has optimized every website image. Now if you want, you can upgrade it to its pro version for $19 from here top right. The upgrade version will have all those additional features. So, this is how you can reduce image file size.
